Embroidery / Print / Transfer
At Bettaprint we use the most up-to-date computer operated multi-head embroidery machines to produce the finest quality embroidery. Using embroidery we can stitch your logo onto most garments in a variety of positions.
Embroidery is usually of a breast pocket size & can contain up to 12 colours
Origination Costs
The origination cost is a one-off charge and will depend upon the number of stitches in your design. As a rough guide a breast pocket sized logo would consist of approximately seven to seven and a half thousand stitches and would cost approximately £25 to £40 for the origination.
For designs consisting of text only, the one-off origination cost would be from £15.
Prices
Prices start at £1.35 per embroidery & rarely exceed £5.00
The price depends on the number of stitches in your design. The average breast pocket logo would cost around £1.60
Please call or email for a quote on larger orders
Individual Names
Individual names can be embroidered with NO set up fees for £5.00 each.
Artwork
We can work with your artwork in most formats. Jpeg, pdf, eps, cdr. But we can also use letterheads, business cards or even a drawing. For an accurate quote please send your design to designs@bettaprints.co.uk
PRINTING
Screen-printing is used as a great alternative to embroidery and for large area designs. Most garments suitable for embroidery are also suitable for screen-printing.
Our semi automatic 6 colour screen printing carousel can service multi colour large run orders as well as smaller quantities & one-offs.
Origination Costs
As with embroidery, a set up charge is made to cover the costs of setting up the screens needed for printing your design. This is a one off charge as we keep the screens for subsequent orders. The screen charge is £15 per colour (4 colour logo = £60 screen charge)
Prices
Price is determined by number of colours in your design & quantity of garments required.

Artwork
At Bettaprint we appreciate how tricky it can be to get artwork for screen printing into the correct usable formats. We always advise our customers that .eps files are going to work best but that doesn’t mean we can’t use the files that you’ve got. If you are unsure you can call us or send your design in whatever format you have to designs@bettaprints.co.uk . There is usually a way round everything.
Heat Transfers
THERE IS NO SET-UP CHARGE INVOLVED IN THIS PROCESS
Heat Transfer technology is used if the image you want on your garment is a photograph or is very intricate or the colours blurr and fade; Effects that cannot easily be achieved with traditional screen printing techniques or embroidery. This is also the most suitable method for putting your logos onto Nylon (waterproof) garments.
Recent advances in this field mean it is now possible to heat transfer onto a much wider range of garments and to a much higher standard than was previously possible. Using systems such as subli-print & ultragraphics we can now faithfully reproduce your artwork using this inexpensive medium onto a wide variety of garments.
Origination Costs
There are NO origination costs
Prices
A breast pocket one colour transfer will cost £1.50.
A large back or front transfer will cost £2.50.
An extra per colour charge may apply depending on the type of transfer required. Phone or email your design for an accurate quote.
Artwork
As with screen printing the best results will be achieved if we have your artwork as a .eps file. We can however, always find a way round any artwork problem.
