Here at Bettaprint we are constantly trying to make life easier for everyone so we are proud to announce the release of our new stock embroidery design catalogue which is on the website for you to browse through.

Now you can add a logo to your text without the hassle & expense of having one drawn up for you.

All of the logos in the catalogue can have any text you like added in any position – above or below, straight or arched as well as to the side. The colours shown in the logos are an example only. You can pick whatever colours you like!

These beautifully digitised logos are arranged in 24 different categories from Aviation to Trade and Businesses (see the left hand section of the catalogue) or you can type in a specific title in the search box.

All the logos are clickable so you can see a larger image & also view a pdf of the embroidery sew-out.

There are hundreds to chose from so when you’ve found the logo you like either email or call us and we can have that text added that will make the logo uniquely yours.

To make it more affordable all these logos are available with no set-up fees. You only pay for the cost of embroidering it onto the garments.

 We get a lot of customers coming in who don’t know much about the brands we sell. Sure, they’ve heard of some of the big names but have no idea about the quality of the gear and so they look to us to advise them on what is best in terms of their budget or their general requirements. If you have an existing digitized logo we’ll put that on instead at no extra charge and if you have a logo you want digitizing we can sort that for a set-up fee of around £25.

There’s been an explosion of spam comments coming in to the blog recently so I did a little research into how I stop that happening.

Sure enough there are plenty of simple plug-ins available to halt the spam & people in the know recommend using Akismet in conjunction with a plug-in called Bad behavior.

I was going to have those two activated today, after all nobody wants or needs all these silly robots crawling around the place dropping pointless messages of no relevance to anything but then I got this:

Its the sort of nonsense that cheers me up in a morning. I wish more “other many” people would speak like that. I would definitely watch ITVs breakfast show if the script ran with this kind of syntax.

Now, my understanding of this spam bot problem is that these spammers take a legitimate comment from a blog, copy it into their robot & the bot spams it across the blogging community. The intention being, I suppose, the url the spammers want to advertise is on many different blogs & so it gets a higher ranking. – How devious. Or it least it could have been had the comment been in a language anybody else speaks.

Since it isn’t there’s not much chance of this making it past admin & onto the blog.

This guy has consistently AND recently been desiring shut to with our website. Well i’m sorry, Sir but this isn’t that type of site and anyway, I’m always very suspicious of people with “near companions”. Despite the use of the word “near” it does sound an awful lot like you are keeping your companions at arms length. – loosen up, man. Group hug, yeah?

Our guy wishes to exhibit his comrehending. Sir, you could not have gotten further away from that wish had you tried. Whatever compehension you do have is not of the English language nor is it of anything currently posted on this blog, sadly.

“I’m positive I’ll be again once again and can ship a few of my friends” – That’s weird. He’s exhibited no understanding of the English language in his post but then suddenly gets all street on us at the end there.

It’s ok pal, I don’t need any of your friends shipping to me. I only have a small office & I’m not sure I would cope well with somebody else’s friends hanging around in it babbling incoherently after what I assume would have been a long & uncomfortable shipping.

Also that would no doubt be expensive. I mean, have you considered that?

So for the time being I think I’ll hold off with the anti spam measures. Some of it is actually quite amusing.
